2025: a year of milestones

2025 at SOLID Foundation brought many milestones. It was a year we will always remember!

One major milestone was opening our doors at our new facility in 2025!

Did you know we first imagined a place of our own back in 2013? When we say skateboarding teaches us to Keep Pushing in every area of life - this is what we’re talking about. After years of dreaming, learning, growth, patience, hard work and perseverance, we finally saw the fruit of our labor become a reality. 2025 was a major milestone because of these notable “firsts”:

At our new facility, we saw:

First summer camp
First *Open House and Block Party*
Launch of *SOLID Minds* after school club
Re-launch of *SkateClub* and free skate nights
First alumni-led workshop teaching welding
over 75 youth and young adults empowered to serve 10,600+ hours in and around Paterson!

What a year it has been! We are so grateful to everyone who has lent a hand, pushed a broom, swung a hammer, volunteered their time, trained our team, led a workshop, collaborated with us, spread the word, made a generous donation, and cheered us on every step of the way!
